Top 5 Books I Read this Summer!

 

Summer is sure the perfect time to go to the beach and enjoy the sun. While you are enjoying the summer vacation, you can still make your time productive by reading books. I personally enjoy sitting on a hammock, feeling the warmth breeze of the sea while reading my favorite book. This summer, there are lots of interesting titles that have caught my attention while I went to the bookstore. Whether it is for leisure reading or not, one can always allot some of their time reading their favorite book.

For this season, there are various literary works that I find myself reading. I am a science fiction fan? Bu t just recently, I find myself getting interested in reading fiction and love stories. Just like anyone else, I have my own preference. For the weather, I want to relax my mind but at the same time make my summer productive. There are so many things that you can learn even if it is just leisure reading. Here are my top favorite books for the summer.

The Nest: One must read this summer is the Nest by Kenneth Oppel. The book has valuable lessons that everyone can personally relate to at some point in their lives.

Sold: Authored by Patricia McCormick, Sold is also a very good book that everyone must read. It features the life of Lakshmi, a 13 year old girl who has been turned into prostitution.

The Wrath and the Dawn: This book is written by Renee Ahdieh. For those searching for a love story that has a different twist, this is the book for you.

P.S. I Still Love You: This book written by Jenny Han is also a must read especially if you want a nice and a lighthearted romance book.

Alive: Written by Scott Sigler, this is one of the best books I’ve read so far. If you are a fan of Hunger Games and Divergent, this book is pretty much in the same genre. It is an easy-read book that comes with a very interesting plot.

These books sum up my top favorites for this summer. With the style and the nice stories of these books, coupled with coffee from my espresso machine, it makes your summer not just productive but as well as an enjoyable time to read. Be sure to check them out.
